Melinda Rambo


I have been using chalk pastels since 1995 and working in multiple art forms since the seventies while living in a small artistic community near San Juan Bautista.  In my paintings I try to express the dynamic sensuousness I see in the forms and colors of nature.  Chalk refracts light so beautifully I have found it to be a natural medium for my luminous subjects. Currently, I am working out of my studio in Santa Cruz.
