Karen has a degree in Fine Art from California State University, Sacramento.  She has held positions including Art Director, Graphic Designer, Free-lance Artist, Photographer and has owned her own advertising agency.  In 1998 she began to paint watercolor full time.  She has also painted in Europe, Canada and Australia.

Karen is a Santa Cruz County Open Studio artist.  She welcomes  commissioned paintings as well.
