Cynthia Siegel

While primarily self-taught, Cynthia Siegel began her career in ceramics in 1989 as a potter's apprentice in Jerusalem, Israel.  She joined the art community of Santa Cruz in 2000, after living and working for seven years in Bishop, CA, in the Eastern Sierra high desert.  Much of Cynthia's inspiration comes from her love of world travel, particularly her travels in Asia.  Cynthia strives to express a blending of the cultural and natural world in the form, texture, and surface color of her works.
