My interest in the arts spans several mediums.  Presently I am focused on poetry, photography and mixed media collage.  I have appeared as an actress in underground films by George Kuchar and Gustavo Vasquez.  My own super-8 film, Combat Zone, has been shown at film festivals and screenings in Seattle, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz.  While teaching English as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine in the mid 1990s I began to use my 35mm camera extensively to document my experiences.  Before returning home I published a chapbook of poetry by modern Ukrainian women.  Some of my photographs appear in this book.  I started my own small business, All Seeing Eye Photography, upon my return from Ukraine.  My poetry and photography have appeared in literary journals both nationally and internationally.  I am presently working on a manuscript of poetry and photography about my experiences in and around Ukraine.
